Bad attitude and not sticking to operating hours

The following is an exchange I had with a Telkom employee in the call centre at around 20:30/20:35 on 6/03/2013:
Telkom: Sir your line is noisy.
Me: Yes, that's the reason for my call...
Telkom: You have to call us back from another line.
Me: I can't do that.
Telkom: We can't test your line because it's in use.
Me: Okay... So can you test it and call me back?
Telkom: No, this is an inbound call centre only. You must call us from another line so we can test it.
Me: Why must I spend money on my cell phone so that you can fix a problem!?
Telkom: Sir you can call us from a friend's line or tomorrow from work or even a call box.
Me: I won't do that; that's not convenient for me.
Telkom: Why not, sir?
Me: Because I want this problem fixed now!
Telkom: Sir, we can't test your line whilst it's in use.
[...]
Me: Okay, so how about you test my line and I call you back in 10 minutes? Will you record the result and put it on the system so the next consultant can see it?
Telkom: Okay.

I called back at 20:45 but call centre was closed, despite their recorded message saying operating hours are till 9pm. As you can see I have already compiled this post and it is not yet even 9pm.
