In November 2013 I was phoned by a lady from Vodacom regarding my contract upgrade. I was told Im due for an upgrade and that Vodacom can do it telephonically and have the phone delivered to my home. I thought this was nice as I needn't go to the shop even to do it and agreed on the upgrade.

The lady tried selling me a few contracts and I explicitly said I can not afford a more expensive contract. She then advised me on the Samsung s3 Mini for R199 per month on which we then agreed. I confirmed the amounts 3 times with her and confirmed 3 times with her that BIS will be stopped also and not billed any further. I also confirmed that the account must be capped at R50 only and that R59's data (250mb) must be added to the account. This was then all I budgeted and bargained on.

I received a message this month from Vodacom that my account is in arrears and after investigating the matter we discovered that my contract was suddenly R300pm instead of R199 and that my BIS was never cancelled.

I want Vodacom to rectify this account before I pay a cent more and I want a written excuse.

I want Vodacom to investigate the matter, listen to the telephonic contract and reply to my problem.
