There is poor Vodacom reception in my area of residence. It never bothered me before but I am now doing more and more work from home and it is becoming more and more frustrating as calls are repeatedly dropped, messages are delayed in delivery and internet pages can't be opened. I had a data contract more than 18 months ago with Vodacom, and after much effort on my behalf it was cancelled by Vodacom due to a long term fix in the area. I have requested that they do the same for my voice contract. After speaking with Lizelle Vice on the 9th of December 2013 a message was sent to me: " Your cancellations reference number is EC-ZHC9-2IUBH3. Kind regards, Vodacom Customer Care Lizelle Vice" I was told that I would be contacted within 24-48 hours. No one contacted me within the said time, so I contacted the call centre and was shunted from one department to the other and told that I will be contacted within 24-48 hours repeatedly. I then lodged a complaint on the Vodacom Facebook page and once again was told that one of the departments would contact me, but to date there has still been no contact from anyone at Vodacom. Is someone willing to sort this issue out for me?
