Impossible to get through!

I have been trying all morning to get through to 083 1 808. It rings, then just drops the call. In desperation my wife tried from a different line: ring, IVR answers, told to wait for an operator, and then drops the call.

Every single time I try to resolve an issue with MTN SP it is the same misery of trying to get through.
