I applied for a cellphone contract with a monthly premium of R199 as diclosed by the sales consultant, i was told that they will debit R232 for activationand there after R199 everymonth, in the first three days i recieved an sms notifying me that my balance is finished then i called customer care on 082111 and they told me to dial *111# and the balance i see there is my balance. when i call aftersales they then told me that my account now owes R600 and something because of the out of bundle charges.

Then on the 20th (which was 6days later) the same amount of R232 was deducted from my account again thats when i decided to cancel the contract, i was also told that there were additional services that was activated like BIS etc without my consent. when the cancellation was processed they told me its cancelled and later said its not because the phone was not recieved while i had proof that its collected. Now today i spoke to Lizelle from contracts dept - c/c 082 1958 who told me that its not cancelled and its with legal.

She further adviced me to speak to Cancellations dept where i got hold of Sindi who also confirmed that she can't do anything since the account is with legal dep
