I used to have a contract with MTN which was later cancelled and handed over to a debt collecting law firm. I've been paying this directly to the law firm for the last 10 months and I never received and I never received any statement from them. Last week I called them to enquire about my balance and only to find out that the current balance is actually higher than the initial amount that the account owed when it was handed over to them for collection and this they said was due to high interest charged my MTN on the account, even though I'm continuing to pay every month. No sense.
I then called the MTN call centre where I was told that the account is with Palesa Ndebele at MTN Corporate Legal Dept and I was given her cell number as well as her Manager Brandon's cell number. I spoke to Palesa the first time I called and she asked to call me back as she was busy but she never did. I've been trying to call her ever since but her phone just ring without an answer. As for for Brandon his Manager the phone is forever on voicemail.

How do I pay MTN to settle my account when they don't want to discuss with me the irregularities that I find in the status of the account at the moment.
