On 03rd October I cancelled my Iburst contract after 7, 5 years with them. I received a ref no. for the call and was informed that one calendar month's cancellation applied, but not explained that in their own language one calendar month means from the 01st of the next month i.e. I am now paying for their service in November too, though I don't need it. This overrides any contractual standards in which one cannot redefine the terms of the English language, in which one calendar month means 30 days from date of notice. Their billing is poor too, as some months no bills arrive electronically (which was also not part of our contract, they simply chose to send them by email since it costs them less, although when one enters into a contract this was not so). The client simply has to oblige but is not taken care of, Iburst simply does as it pleases and interprets contracts according to their own advantage. Don't use them. Their bandwidth is also slow in comparison to similarly-priced options out there.
