I signed a 24 month contract with iBurst 4 years ago. After the 24 mths exp, i continued with their service but never signed a renewal contract. As per the Consumer Protection Act, it becomes month to month agreement. iBurst send me a new USB modem with very poor reception. From October 2012, I submitted 4 emails via their iBurst Website under the tab "CONTACT US" to terminate my agreement. I had no response. After the 4th mail, I stopped payment and switched service provider. Once I stopped all payments to them, they then made contact with me regarding payments being outstanding. I have then received an email from them and I replied to the mails. I had many telephone conversations as well as from their so called legal dept. I do have proof where one of their representatives said to me in writing that if I returned their USB modem, they will credit my account and cancell the contract. iBurst send RAM couriers to my office, delivered a bag and a waybill slip to complete. They never returned to collect the modem. Once again emails has been sent and to date no reply. Now they have listed my name to the credit bureau. This will become a legal matter now from my side. DONT USE IBURST!!
