I contacted Vodacom on Monday 26 August 2013 in order to obtain an itemised bill for data usage as my bill went from R0 for data in the previous months to R1500 for the current month. I was requested to send through a written request for the itemised bill, which I did. However by 28 August I have not received same and sent an email. At 14:45 on the 28th a lady phoned me from 08227597 and attempted to assit. She undertook to send an email to which I could reply wherefter the bill would be sent. I am waiting for the email but what really upset me is the condescending manner in which the lady tried to convince me that I did something wrong and that is why the bill is so high. I suspected that even if it is as a result of a mistake on Vodacom's side, I will still be expected to foot the bill. However the desperate manner in which the lady tried to convince me that it is my fault without having the relevant information, has confirmed this. I informed her that I do not want to be lectured but only need the information whereafter she proceeded to end the conversation by slamming down the phone. Unprofessional, rude and disinterested. Your service is a disgrace!
