MTN ROAMING CHARGES EXCESSIVE OVER CREDIT LIMIT

Our credit limit on MTN account was R15000 but my Son unwittingly clocked up R80000 charges
on skyping his girlfriend whilst overseas.

We have been paying this back over the period since January but MTN has become very difficult in that
now my 4 phones and 2 x 3G cards have been suspended until full payment has been made.

I complained bitterly to MTN that surely the account should have been suspended once my credit limit had been exceeded - and so the maximum charges should have been R15000 and not R80000..

I feel that MTN is being just another case of a heavy handed and unsympathetic supplier.
