I recently requested a R5000 limit increase on my credit account. That would have pushed my credit limit to about R15000. It was denied. Reason why I wanted to increase the limit was for security on overseas trips. I applied at FNB the same day and was approved for R40 000. Needless to say I am disappointed and probably going to consolidate my credit card accounts with FNB.
