Last month I upgraded my Vodacom contract online to save on the R150 Admin fee. No one contacted me regarding the online upgrade. Thursday 27 June 2013 I was contacted by The Rewards Company and upgraded my phone with them as well as changed my top-up contract to a higher one (Upgrade Quotation: 7771422). They waivered the R150 Admin fee for me as I originally upgraded online and was disappointed by Vodacom's lack of service. I was told that my cell phone would be delivered within 5 working days. Today I contacted The Rewards Company and they do not have a tracking number for my cell phone and suggested that I cancel the upgrade and rather upgrade in a vodacom shop (telephone ref no: 29325). I then contacted Vodacom customer care who passed me on to Vodacom's upgrade depart who then told me that the upgrade contract has not been cancelled but back dated or something and that she can make it active again but then it would take 5 working days again! I told the lady that I cannot wait another 5 working days as I originally upgraded online 3 weeks ago can she arrange for me to pick up a phone at a shop and waive the Admin fee and she said no I'd have to pay and I don't see why I should
