On 28 September 2011 I went in to Nashua mobile's Head office in Midrand to upgrade my Talk 240 contract to a Talk 500 contract as I am using my phone for business and my monthly repayments was weigh too high. I completed the upgrade and left. I continued paying my account every month and recently noticed that I was still on a Talk 240 contract. I did not expect them not to do their job and unfortunately did not think to check. I phoned their call centre yesterday and they confirmed that it was their mistake and the person I spoke to insured me that they will pay me back every cent owed me. He would give me feedback by today 14:00. I phoned around 15:00 and was told that I was only entitled to 3 months worth of refunds but they were willing to bend the rules and refund me for 6 months. I have been paying too much for 21 months and they want to refund me for 6 months. The agent confirmed that it was their mistake but it was my responsibility to check and make sure the upgrade took place. Why should I make sure that they do their job?? Why can they not refund me the full amount owed to me? They confirmed that it was their mistake!!! What should I do? Please help.
