My phone has been HARD LOCKED. I have been a subscriber with Vodacom for 10 years and have 3 phones on contract and am highly dissapointed. I received a text stating there was high data usage on my phone exceeding R8000. This did not bother me as I have previously had phone bills exceeding R20000, whereby I wasbilled at the end of the month with the money deducted by debit order.
Firstly I have never been informed that there was a limit on my account (since when). Nor was I informed of the rates of roaming charges for data bundles when using my Blackberry internationally, even though Vodacom sends you a wonderful "Welcome" message. Where is this info? I do know about the international rates for phone calls.
Anyway long & short of things Im being told to pay my bill before I can use my phone again but every number I call cannot assist me with an invoice, Ive even been into a cutomer care store?? I've had the run around a bit now so will wait to hear what happens and definitely will be looking at moving my contracts to another provider soonest.
