Charges for International Roaming is Exhorbitant

We were in Mauritius in April 2013.

We were not advised that the charges for Data usage on International roaming is R400 per minute. I think this is really exploiting unsuspecting consumers. Why are we not advised upfront when we get the wonderful message from Vodacom welcoming us to Mauritius. I think this is rediculous. We now get a call when we back from Mauritius advising us of an unusually high bill for end of May. This is very poor service from Vodacom's side and I will certainly not be renewing my 5 contracts with Vodacom. My Bill for end May is now R10000... this is rediculous. I cannot see how Vodacom can justify charging us R400pm.
My Blackberry was forever on SOS that is because I pay for BIS and Vodacom was not making any money from the Blackberry..it would have been on had they been charging me R400 per minute. Why are we not advised in advance of these exhorbitant costs that are not justified.. I think the Cell Phone industry is a rip off
