Good day
Since the beginning of this contract, my bill has never averaged more than R550 per month - This includes calls and data.
On my contract I get 1000mb per month, and I have never run out of data.
I called the call centre to dispute this large data downloads/uploads, and I was told I must accept the bill and pay it and there was nothing I could do about it.
I was told by the call centre MANAGER (Who was put on the phone at my request) that the data had been downloaded on Christmas day at 04:53am. I then asked how did I download this data if I am sleeping?
The data I supposedly downloaded is NOWHERE to be found on my phone!!
The SMS events around this dispute are as follows:
On 25/12/2012 - time 14:24pm - Received SMS saying that data 224.4mb expires on 31/12
On 25/12/2012 - time 15:29pm - Received SMS saying that the data bundle has been depleted and out of bundle rates are applicable
On 02/01/2013 - time 10:01am - Received SMS saying that high usage has been detected on my cel number exceeding R2380.17
On 07/01/2012 - time 19:43pm - Received SMS saying that my account has been debited with R5191.67 by Vodacom
Vodacom are money and not PROTECTING their customers
