My husband recently Purchased A Data bundle from MTN but Unfortunately Started using The Data Prior To The Actual Activation Of The Particular Data Bundle That He Purchased. Needless Say, within two Days He managed To Run Up An Account To The Value Of R 24 000! You Would Think That A Major Service Provider Like MTN Would Have Something In Place To Track The Usage Of their Clients And Notify Them Of Any Unusual activity Or Usage. We Found out The Hard Way that There is Nothing In Place To Assist us As Users, no notification, absolutely nothing! When We enquired On how To Resolve This, we were Told In No Uncertain Tone That We Would Have To Pay The Full Amount But That They Would Gladly allow Us To Pay The Full Amount Over 4 Months. We Made our First payment Of R 5 000 And This month Would Have Been The 2nd Payment But Unknown To Us, the full balance Owing Was Deducted from my Husband's Account before We Could Even Make A Second Payment! Again, no communication from MTN' s side! This treatment after Dealing with MTN For The Past 15 Years! Well, this is The Very Last Time That We Will Ever Do Business With MTN!
