My fiance bought a pair of earings on 20 March 10minutes before the stores closed. Purchase price is R1300. She bought these for our wedding on 22 March and she specifically asked the consultant if she can return it as she is not sure if it will match her dress. The consultant was busy packing up and said yes, so she took the earrings. When she got home and showed me the earrings i gave her the earrings i bought a while back to surprise her. Thus there was no use for these one's.
The next morning (21st) at 06:30 we flew to durban to get married at the coast so we couldnt return it then.
We tried to return it at Shelley Beach Edgars and they said they dont stock that brand we have to go to ERM.
Thereafter we went to Cape Town for honeymoon and tries Edgars in Canal walk, again they said they dont stock the item, we have to go to ERM.
We tried calling returns department at ERM Edgars throughout this time and no one ever answered. (the answer switchboard, but never returns)
Thus when we got back this past weekend, we went to ERM Edgars and spoke all the way up to the floor manager which spoke to management and they just said no, they wont take it back. think its very unreasonable
