On Saturday 18/05/2013 I bought 2 pairs of Guess jeans at Edgars Active Festival Mall but only realised once I was in Edgars Festival Mall that only 1 pair was discounted as per the running promotion on in store on the day. I then spoke to Pamela (cashier) and Alpheus (some manager on the floor) querying whether they could not do a return on the jeans and process a purchase thereafter with the 20% discount being processed on both jeans. I was told that that could not be done because of the following: 1. Edgars and Edgars Active do not run the same promotions, 2. Edgars and Edgars Active do not use the same systems, 3. Edgars and Edgars Active are not one and the same thing.
I know for a fact that the reasons provided are a whole lot of utter nonsense because: 1. This promotions was available in both stores. 2. Both stores sell Guess jeans. 3. Both stores are part of the EDCON group.
I am totally disgusted with the fact that Senior staff could blatantly and make a fool of me as a customer in such a manner.
I am expecting an apology from Alpheus and Pamela for such pathetic customer services or rather lack thereof.
