False Advertising - Tired of horrible service

Ordered a toaster from Kalahari on 05 December. Paid in full, obviously. The item is displayed on the site as 'in stock' and as 'dispatched within 24 hours)'. I am still waiting for this 24 hour delivery. I check online and on my order it says the estimated delivery date is 31/12/2013. So I call Kalahari last week and I am promised a call back. Still waiting. Called again this morning. This time the consultant gives me the run around about items that there may not be stock of and why it would be delivered late. But, I ask her, why then does the site display it as 'in stock- delivery in 24 hours'??? If I order it today shouldn't it deliver tomorrow? Does the site not link to the warehouse stock? She starts her story again. Now I'm really peeved off. The item was supposed to be here last week already. It is meant for Christmas, NOT New Year. If it says one day delivery on the site, it should be one day delivery right??? This is blatant false advertising, and the consumer comlpaints commission would have a field day on this one. I think I've been patient enough. The item is 2 WEEKS LATE. This is an unacceptable low in service delivery. Does Kalahari not fulfil their promises anymore?
