False advertising late delivery

Ordered a camera online - paid in full on 26th December. got a confirmation back from them after this that it would be delivered on 9th jan only. this after they advertise 24hr delivery. camera was for my daughters birthday on 2nd jan. sent them two emails querying this and no response. called the call centre and lady just informs me they don't have stock of item and are waiting for delivery from supplier. this should be stated on website - I would never have purchased items should I have known this before.
