Yesterday I went to the Jet store in Cresta to purchase a pair of pumps. It was close to closing time & there were quite a few custormers in the store. This specific store has been renvovated &2 till points (@opposite ends of the store) were part of the renovations. Seeing that there were 20 customers all waiting patiently in line one would think that both the points would be assisting -NOPE. There were ONLY 3 cashiers assisting customers. Staff were standing everywhere &noticed the Q's but did not see it necessary to jump in & assist, it is much more fun talking to friends, joking around and playing on your phone! Seeing that this kind of service delivery is the norm in SA, I waited in line (for more than 20mins!!) When it was my turn to pay the lady advised me that 'the system is slow' &when I already punched in my PIN, the system was suddenly completely OFF! She proceeded to ask me if I have cash with me - IF I carried around cash I would've paid cash, wake up lady! I left the shoes there left the store very annoyed and dissapointed. Nevertheless, everytime I go to that store there are either en Q's and unwilling staff or the system is offline - come on EDCON, get it right
