Sunday (12/5/13), my mother & I went to get our prescriptions filled. Our doctor has changed his manual prescription process to electronic form (signed off by the doctor to validate the prescription).

Pharmacist on duty refused to accept the script as it was not in the same format she was used to. After calmly pointing out that the typed up script included all the relevant information required (doctors details, signature, practice number etc) the pharmacist was extremely rude & claimed that how did she know that my mother had not signed the script herself. Her manner, lack of training and bad attitude was extremely disappointing. I noted to her that signatures are not verified on any manual script either.

We contacted our doctors rooms and asked for the doctor to speak to the pharmacist to verify the authenticity of the script. The pharmacists proceeded to take my mothers cell phone and walk away purposefully so that we could not hear the conversation being held. This was not acceptable. Upon presenting the script to Dischem, it was accepted & confirmed that this format is quite common. We have since cut up our Clicks cards and will no longer be a "not so valued" customer.
