I contacted DSTV in mid December as my DSTV had been disconnected despite my account being paid. After being on hold for about 30 minutes and then spending another 30 minutes on the phone with them, I was eventually told that the payment had been misallocated to a box office account. This was despite me initially being told that I did not make payment at all. I inquired as to how this could have occurred as I put a reference number on the payment etc and was advised that they would investigate and revert. I had changed my method of payment and wanted to ensure that this was not going to be a problem every month which is why I needed the feedback. A week later I had received no response and called in again. I was told that they would refer it to the person who logged the original query for them to respond - they confirmed that there was a note on the system to follow up on this issue. Its now almost 3 weeks later and still no response. So whilst they "strive to delight their customers" they cannot do a simple thing like provide feedback. They have constant billing issues and really dont care about customer service it seems.
