Multichoice prepared to lose a customer of 20 yrs

I have been a subscriber since MNet and DSTV were launched (more than 20 years ago I believe).
I have never skipped a payment in all these years.
April 2013 I was ill and could only make payment after the 28th (3 days later) I made payment the morning and was disconnected the afternoon AFTER payment was made. They then billed me for "non payment"
when I contacted them to dispute the R50 they billed me for "non payment: I do not agree that this is non payment.
I advised that if they are prepared to lose a longstanding client as a result of a R50 overcharge I am quite happy to close this account.
The response from Carol Mabaso The DStv Enquiries team reads: Unfortunately we are unable to reverse the R50.00 reconnection fee as the system did not bill you in error. We received a late payment and when our autohold system routine went through your account your payment had not reflected.
How is that for customer care and treatment of loyal customer service.
