I made a payment to DSTV on 2 December 2013 as the 1st of December was on a Sunday. I downgraded my package and made a payment to DSTV and came home and watched a bit of tv. My services were then switched off. I called to the call centre and they advised me that the payment is not yet reflecting and they cannot put my services on as yet, I was also advised that I must pay the reconnection fee. I don`t understand that since the 1st is a Sunday, I made the payment the next day, it takes up to 48 hours to reflect but DSTV could not wait and just deactivated my services. This is poor service to the highest level and still being told to pay a reactivation fee is absolutely pathetic. I was shown no concern over the phone as I feel that DSTV knows that there is no real competition out there so they can treat customers any way they want to
