Touger Than Dirt Run
No refund for cancelled obstacle race

The Tougher Than Dirt obstacle race, which was to take place in August was cancelled due to a veld fire. We received an email from the supplier saying that everyone will be refunded within two weeks. This did not happen and I couldn't get hold of the organizer for another two weeks. When I finally got hold of him he said he would make the refund that weekend to no avail, and then he promised the following week and then he said as soon as he gets money from another event. I then asked if he could enter my fiance into the upcoming event (Special Forces challenge) and refund the remainder. He agreed but never sent any confirmation of the entry or information about where it would take place nor did i receive my refund. It is almost December and I still have not received my refund and he does not acknowledge or reply to my emails anymore. The refund is for R580, which as a student I could really use. It's not so much about the money though as it is about the fact that I am being strung along this whole time and being made empty promises. I'm not sure if other people who entered the race have had the same problem? I would like a response and my refund please.
