Let down for the 2nd time!

Friends & I booked & paid upfront for a Singles Dinner on 16 August. After we paid no further details such as the time of the event, were confirmed. On the night I got a call from Serena at 7pm to say that the event had been cancelled. We were all already on the way to the venue! We then struggled for 4 weeks to get hold of Serena by phone or email. She didn't reply to any messages until 13 Sep. She claimed to have had a "break down" & apologised for not being in touch. She then offered us a full refund by 7 October & a free event as compensation. We sent banking details for the refund but to date not received a cent. We then confirmed that we'd attend another event (offered free of charge) on 17 Oct. I couldn't get hold of Serena by email again so I phoned her to confirm our booking. She claimed that her emails had been "hacked". But she confirmed that we'd been booked onto the event & that she would refund us in cash on the night. So it was to our horror that when we arrived at the venue there was no event happening & we weren't informed of the cancellation. We have still not received a refund and are once again unable to get hold of Serena! We want our refund!
