We have enquired about a claim on numerous occasions. Its unacceptable & per legislation this claim should be processed & paid to the provider at cost! My mother is an elderly Portuguese lady who is unable to attend to her administrative matters. I have been attending to her Medical affairs since we put her on this medical aid, finances are covered by me, Mrs C. Da Encarnacoa, please check your records!!! I phoned the call centre yesterday and was informed my mother has to give me written permission to attend to her enquiries. SHE CANNOT WRITE ENGLISH, you are most welcome to contact her directly to verify this. The claim in question has been rejected for ICD10 code K46.9 which is a PMB ICD10 code. The ICD10 code was corrected under "opmerking" and is reflected per line as well.
Please advise why you rejected this claim again for incorrect ICD10 code, we are not getting any assistance with this matter and my mother will be handed over due to your incompetency.
