Failure to deliver/ 9 months later & still no ca

I'm in the car audio industry & will openly admit to being ignorant when it comes to the mechanical aspect of a vehicle. Because of my lack of knowledge I chose to take this project to a " professional ". Nothing prepared me for this HORROR story.

9 mths later, R 45 000 of accessories, a R 15 000 paint job, R 10 000 already paid to remedy a heating problem & I am made to believe that there is still another R15 000 outstanding that needs to be paid in as far as the heating problem is concerned. Here's the catch. I still don't have the car & yes it still overheats. But guess what I'm told that I'm still responsible for the bill.

Besides the frustration of the overheating I still have to deal with a pathological!!! This vehicle was dropped of at my business 6 times already & every time I was told that the problem was resolved. To date I have not been able to drive more than 5 to 8 kilometers before this car overheats. 3 of those times the car just needs to idle then it overheats.

So after all of this I asked if there's any possibility that I could pick the car up & take it to another mechanic, I get told that I need to pay for a car that still OVERHEATS??? Is this FAIR!
