Hi, My daughter bought a second hand mini (2007) from a dealer (Sterling Auto). This weekend she heard a noise - is not sure is it in the wheel or is it the steering wheel. She phone Mini Zambesi Pretoria to asked if she can bring the car to them for an inspection on what the problem is. They were very eager to help her with the following - You book the car in at the service centre leave it for the day and we will quote you. But keep in mind that quotes are not free you have to pay R790.00 per hour for inspection and quotes. She have to leave the car their what will be the cost after a day - R5, 000 -???

Is this fair?
