Not happy

On Friday, there was a funny noise coming from gearbox in my mini that had just been in for a full service on Tuesday. I took it back to the dealership where my car had been. They informed me that my gearbox had to be replaced. The service manager, who i might add i have no problem with and is always very helpful, told me that they don't have stock and it would take three weeks for a new one to arrive. They did not have a car for me, they might be able to get me one by Wednesday! So, in the meantime i have had to rent a car whichhas cost me a pretty penny with no mention of a reimbursement from mini. I have always had sch great service and w would recommend the brand to anyone who has asked but this has left a bad taste in my mouth. They didn't even offer to get me home on Friday. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to get a rental car in sandton Friday afternoon. I cannot afford to rent a car for three weeks and now that mini doesn't have stock, has apparently become MY PROBLEM!!! Nice one mini.
