Repeated return on same fault

I have been one of the biggest fans of mini my whole life. I have never owned another car than a mini and Love the brand.
I bought a new mini a year ago and recently took it to Mini Centurion for a few faults on the car. The passenger window doesn't want to work as it should and the car is battling to start when warm. The car has been in to the same dealership now 4 times and they are yet to fix it. Every time I get the car and is assured that the problem has been rectified but when I get into the car the same problems are still there. It is as if they don't even test what the so called mechanics have fixed. It is also a real pain to take the car there every time cause it takes two peoples time for at least an hour ever time to do this as they don't give a courtesy car or have a good service to take you back home. My expecting wife then sits at home with no car so if something should go wrong she is stuck. I also have driven out probably a tank of fuel for all the times I had to return the car and BMW/MINI just thinks I can come back as many times as I want to. I would really like to see them fix the car and assure me that the car I bought is not going to leave my family stranded.
