Pathetic service

Upon organising a university event, we had chosen Debonairs Rondebosch to supply our food for the event. The large order was made two weeks in advanced, and even gave a time as to when the order would be needed. 1 week before the event the manager called to confirmed the order, stating that there will be no need to confirm the order on the day (which did not make sense but as it was the manager you would expect them to know the protocol and hence trust them) as the order was confirmed on that day. On the day, the organisers fone battery had died for an hour. Upon foning debonairs, to check if everything was running according to plan, their reply was that, with the fone being off, they could not confirm the order (which the manager said did not need to be confirmed on the day again) and thus had not even started putting the order through. 50 minutes after our fone call, HALF of our COLD order had arrived and the rest had arrived later. Their staff's unprofessional service is unacceptable. When organising events at university, there is not a chance that i would contact this place.
