Report a car and become the criminal

I am truly discussed with outsurance. On Friday the 12/04/2013 my car was. I went to the police to report it while my son phoned the insurance company to ensure that we have all the documents ready. They put him through to claims consultant. The consultant opened up the case as my son came and asked me what he could and remembered what he could. We followed there instructions to de-register the car and was informed that assessor would contact me by Monday. Since then I have been made to feel like a criminal with regards to this. My life is already upside down after the car was and now the assessor wants details of everything I did that day to the point where I feel I'm a criminal. I've been a loyal client for 11 years and never felt so humiliated about approaching a company to do their job which I have paid for just to be made out to feel like I'm the criminal. It is unacceptable on all regards and in all aspects as my car was. Not secretly hidden away. The assessor wants details they fully know that no one keeps.
