Impossible to get a claim submitted

The service in the insurance claims department is absolutely shocking.
I called from 8am yesterday to put in a claim as my car was on Saturday and spent most of the morning on hold.
Someone was supposed to call me back- I'm still waiting. When I got through again because I was tired of waiting for this call, someone else filled in the form for me and told me yet again someone was going to call me back... I'm still waiting.
I just want my claim submitted so that I can start making plans for a car as I now am stuck without one. It's bad enough having my car and my belongings in it and now I can't even get assisted in starting to sort this mess out and claiming.
The service is disgusting and they are in the service industry so customer service should be a priority.
I would just like some feedback- not only on the status of my claim but as to why it is so difficult to get any assistance at all from FNB Insurance. I got told repeatedly yesterday that the claims department is very busy- but there is not a car spree happening at the moment, and if that department is so busy why can't they cope, or why isn't there adequate staff? Not impressed at all.
