I was in a car accident on Tuesday evening 6 August. My vehicle had to be towed. I called the new assistance number and option 2 for business claims didn't work. Eventually I got hold of someone who could assist from the personal insurance department. After waiting about 30 - 40 mins for them to phone back with towing authorization I called them back to find out what was happening to be told it was already authorised.

To this date no one at Budget Insurance has had the decency to phone me with an update as to what is going on. I phoned them on 13 August and was told they were waiting to see if my premium was going to be paid on 15th to see if they were going to approve the claim. I called back today as my premium went off my account yesterday morning and still nothing has happened because they can't tell yet whether they got their money.

The last claim I had with them I was contacted every few days with an update and I was very impressed.
