I totally agree with the previous complainant 100%. Impossible to get help via Call Centre. I had a business discussion with a Richard Fahey. He promised to get back to me with an answer last Fri - but failed. I've tried to reach him many times and am told he is not available, is out, can't take calls, is on leave, and even today "he doesn't work here"! Unbelievable. All I want is an answer from this Business Manager. One rings the Call Centre and every time they try to solve the query for you which takes forever as you have to explain the entire story again when all you want to do is get a message to the guy you've dealt with already - after lengthy discussions they can't deal with your query so they transfer you, then an endless wait. Nobody responds, you listen to music forever. and then you get cut off! Banks in the UK have already done away with this silly call Centre system, and one is now able to ring directly to your branch. Passing on messages and returning promised calls is not rocket science. we're bombarded with TV ads on how amazing Std Bank service is which seem somewhat ironic when the actual service is so disappointing.
