I have a business acccount with Standard Bank and they've closed it because there was no activity on the account for a few months. I did not even know they were closing it. My business banker told me that Standard Bank send a letter stating that the account is going to be closed but I did not receive such a letter. I did ask her that day if she can assist me in reopening the account but she said that Standard Bank does not like to do that and I need to apply for a new bank account. But there are others that reopened theirs

I send an email through to the complaint resolutions centre. They referred it back to my business banker who still haven't contacted me. I can not wait any longer for my account to be reopened because I have a business to run and its picking up fast

Now I've been trying to get hold of my business banker so that she can reopen it.

They have a general call centre so you can't get hold of the branch directly. The call centre cannot do anything - apparently only my account manager can assist.

But she is impossible to get hold of. Waited on the line for 20 minutes to no avail.

Is there anyone at Standard Bank who can assist me with this?
