After researching the market, I decided to opt for pet insurance with OnePet after receiving telephonic confirmation on more than one occasion that there are no exclusions with One Pet. The application form was emailed to me. I completed the form and returned it to One Pet on 15 February 2013. I was charged a pro rata premium for February 2013.

My pet's eyes were red, covered with matter and tearing. The veterinarian confirmed that my pet had conjunctivitis and kerotosis and would lose his eyesight with time. An operation that was a necessity to save his eyesight was repudiated by Onepet medical aid..

The insurance company marketed the policy telephonically on the pretence that there were no exclusions.
