Momentum does not pay their Bills

My Son was booked for an operation the 7th of October 2013 - he needed his teeth fixed. i realised my Debit order for my Medical aid was returned - i drew money, deposited it into my FNB account and made payment - i then contacted my medical aid and confirmed that my son was covered for his operation - in which they replied YES! i also asked that if it was possible for them to debit my account on the 25th as this is the date my salary was paid in. a November came and went - on the 26th of November i received a phone call from the Hospital informing me that my medical aid refused to pay my hospital and Anaesthesiologist account as the Group i am affiliated with has been suspended. i then contacted my Medical aid in which i received a rude response from GU GU that my November Premium has been sent back and that because my November Premium was sent back they refuse to pay my October Hospital Bills... this is with out any further/prior correspondence i spoke to the manager Erina and she confirmed this - i asked her as well - was my son covered on the day of the Operation? she replied yes!! so i ask - WHAT THE AM I PAYING MEDICAL AID FOR IF I AM LIABLE FOR EVERYTHING.
