14 years no claim and that claim denied

A couple of weeks ago we were broken into while asleep and gladly they oh broke into the home office. (Or so we thought). We awoke the next morning to find our electro icy equipment. We then called the police who took 8 hours to come and take the case and 72 hours to even take prints.
We called the insurers which we have been with since purchasing the property. Gave then all the details which probably amounted to R20 000 in what was taken. We waited and waited some more. Eventually an assessor came to the property and did an assessment.
We the got a reply 6 days later saying that they are not insuring us because our burglar proofing is not adequate enough.

I find this disposable and we cannot let them get away with this. We give our hard earned money to be insured just for them to say we don't qualify. They would rather send the assessor to your property before you pay them for years.

Over the years we have paid over R 90 000 and have never claimed for. When it does happen it is not paid for. What the are we actually paying for.

I will be going further with this because I'm just tired of the insurers taking a ride. Please watch E tv and all social media
