I recently went to fnb to switch to the cheque account with the intention to do the s4, the Lady at the centurion branch then told me I need to go to another branch to do the s4 only after I started opening the new account Today when I got there (3 days after opening the account) they told me that I however do not qualify as i need a 30 day statement in my fnb account (which was not said beforehand to me). Also they say I do not have credit but I have been paying water and lights from the 1st of Feb, which is a record of credit according to me (I may be wrong on this). Mainly I am writing out of complete disappointment because these things should have been said to me before I opened my account as this is affecting my decision to bank with fnb. Then secondly the lady also said that they will only receive 15 phones and have a waiting list of 16 so I would have never received this phone no matter my credit status. I truly feel this is then false advertising as no one ever said there is a limit on this and also no one ever communicated to me what was exactly necessary for this after I told them what my intentions were. This is really bad service and misleading info and I'm truly disappointed
