Bad Attitude and No show from Santam- still waitin

My dad has claimed from the insurance for the first time in 30 years. He had a break in and they broke the burglar proofing and window and tampered with the door. My dad called Santam the day of the incident and they told us to secure it ourselves. The assessor has not come out still. The service we received from Kim was really terrible, She said she will help send help. But at 4pm no one arrived. I had to find someone to secure the place. According to Santam it is the persons who owns the house to do this. My mum is 67 and on a walker and had to go and look for a welder. We had to phone around at 4pm for a glass to be put in. We had to secure the door and when I phoned to tell Kim that I found someone. Her colleague who was very rude said to me. " You are not the only client Kim has, she is busy and lots of people have their home broken into and she is helping them too. She cant sit on the phone with you. Try and sort out your own problems."this was at 4pm. After the 10th I got a phone call from Kim to find if everything is ok only today. Is this the service we want from our Insurance Company. No assessor came out. No feedback - nothing.
