Be warned!! Refunds from Groupon not processed!!

On 30 Jan '13 I requested a R3995 refund from Groupon. Three days later, no reply. So I mailed again. They replied that credit was passed on their side, but there was nothing in my account. I phoned Groupon, who asked for bank statements. I extracted credit card statements clearly showing Debits and Credits on my account. I sent these to Groupon. Again, there was no reply, even after my sixth mail. I phoned my bank to confirm the refund, and they stated that the credit was never processed and supplied me with a reference which I mailed to Groupon informing them to contact their bank to authorise the credit. Again no reply received. I phoned the CPT branch again, and was put on hold for more than 10min. They stated that I should forward a detailed credit card statement. I refused as this contains personal info, costs money and puts me at risk. They said that it's the only way. I asked for proof of processed credit, and they refused. I lodged a complaint on Facebook and sent another email. Again no reply on email. On FB they asked for my contact details, but still no further follow up or replies. They're incompetent in processing credits, hence from clients. I'm fed up!!
