The following is the sequence of events:

6th Dec: Placed an order with Groupon on their Xmas Page for a product which would be delivered to me.

12th Dec: Received an "Important Update" from Groupon saying that my product was "on its way" and would reach me before 20th December. Courier details were provided.

18th Dec: Phoned courier to see when product was coming. They had no record of any delivery for me. Tried phoning Groupon and gave up after being on hold for 30 mins.

I then went overseas for 2 weeks. When I came back it still hadn't arrived.

Jan 8th: Emailed Groupon asking them where my product was.

Jan 11th: No response to last email so tried phoning. Gave up after being on hold for 25 mins. So I emailed again.

Jan 15th: Still no response so I emailed yet again!

Jan 16th: Received email from a different courier company to say I would receive my product by 24th Jan. Only 5 weeks late!!

Jan 17th: Received a generic email from Groupon saying my issue was now "solved" and could I please rate their service. I responded with the above details saying I wasn't happy with their service and wanted an explanation.

No response!! Pathetic customer service by Groupon SA.
