SAA has pathetic aircraft maintenance

Flight booked and scheduled to depart at 15:20. Around 15:50 we start to taxi to depart. Reaching end of taxi the pilot state there is something wrong with the brakes and we don't have enough fuel to make the flight. So in effect we are back at the main building and it is 16:45. Still waiting. That's what you get flying with a company that needs bail out from the government every other year. How they win any awards I have no idea. I will NEVER use their service again. Big expensive planes they can't even look after. Bunch of clowns.
