Credit card debited four times in error

My wife booked airline tickets for our trip online and used her credit card to pay for the tickets. Her credit card was debited four times instead of once by Lufthansa on the 17/01/14. So instead of a debit for R25 921-00 she was debited with R103 684-00.She has been told that the funds can only be refunded in seven days time. Never mind that her account is now way over drawn and interest is being charged to her account. The call centre refuses to allow us to speak to the finance dept and each time we have to go through a call centre to find out what is happening.

This is totally unacceptable as the fault with Lufthansa, if they can take the funds erroneously so easily why can't they fix the situation as quickly.
