Duplicate bookings on 1 card

On 9 January 2013, I made an online enquiry to both Kulula and Travelstart for quotes on a return flight to Cape Town for the 15th February. I received my credit card statement last week, and it showed that both travelstart and Kulula have now take money from my card, even though I have confirmed my booking through Kulula online as the tickets was clearly much cheaper then travelstart, but to find that money was also taken for my enquiry through travelstart which I did not submit through is pure. I have been calling and emailing different people at travelstart and I just received an email from Alistair at travel start, saying that I will forfeit R1700 of the R2000 that was taken for the travelstart ticket, and only R300 will be refunded.
I do find this very upsetting as its the same airline I am using, and if Kulula cant help me with this, then I will never use their airline ever again, as I find it to be pure dailight. I understand that they might not take responsibility for this, but as I now have 2 tickets with them on the same day, I do believe that they can speak to Travelstart, and refund my money to me with the amount that was taken from my credit card.
