We were scheduled to fligh to the UK via Lufthansa on the 9th July to visit family but I had to have a cevical disc fusion operation and I am not able to fly so we started about two weeks ago to get the flight moved to the end of the year. The bottom line is that after numerous calls to the call centre where every time is a different story is that this airline quite frankly does not want to commit to any thing on paper. Even after wanting to pay in R12k to change the flight they wont send you anything to confirm what to pay, they expect you to give your credit card details and pin codes over the phone to pay an amount that they have given verbally. Not a vey good safe practice and they cannot even send their policies by email to a customer or to confirm the fare refund. They tell you to log into their web site with the reservation code but when you do it says their is now no active bookings so you cant see anythingr. I will not ever again book with this airline as they treat their customers badly and they are so scared to commit to anything. I am surprised that they can commit to flight times.
